Four presidential candidates gave strong performances at ANC’s “Harapan: The Presidential Forum” on Wednesday, according to several political and media analysts. July 15/09, A proposal to grant amnesty or open peace negotiations with the al-Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf group is causing a demoralization in the police and military in the southern Philippines.
Senator Richard Gordon has proposed to grant amnesty to the terrorist group after the recent release of kidnapped Italian aid worker Eugenio Vagni after six months in captivity in the southern island of Sulu.

FACTS ABOUT GIBO TEODORO: 11/29/09 He changed his support on RH Bill. We shall protect the life of each and every citizen. Respect for life shall be from the moment of conception to the moment of death of our constituents. The protection of life is guaranteed by our constitution and on this principle there is no compromise, former defense secretary Teodoro said in his speech during the Lakas-Kampi-CMD convention.
He is looking for the church endorsement.
FACTS ABOUT NOYNOY AQUINO:
While the Catholic Church was all out in its support for the late President Corazon Aquino, some clerics say they may not do the same for Corys son, Sen. Benigno Noynoy Aquino III, in the 2010 presidential contest, because of his support for the controversial reproductive health bill.
Aquino should rethink his support for the RH bill,which he said contained anti-life provisions and promoted a contraceptive mentality that runs counter to Church teaching.
