the reason for the ad is to make people aware of what we should be ready for. It gave practical solutions that we can all have. the idea is to make us prepare ourselves. besides, no government can be ready for what had happened. Even america wouldnt be too ready for that.

So why use “Disaster Preparedness” if we are not prepared for disasters like these? FYI, Teodoro’s job as NDCC chair is not only awareness but most importantly
1) establish a early warning signal for disasters like these
2) involve the community and LGU to be prepared
3) make sure that rescue boats and evacuation centers are available

Now tell me, nagawa ba nya yun? His “infomercials paid for by friends” are both hilarious and pathetic. Everybody in the world knows how unprepared we are.
